Equities

The S&P 500, and the NASDAQ Composite indices resumed strategic their Strategic bullish advance; while Europe, and the Emerging Markets are on Bear alert, and may be bottoming. China remains Bearish.

  • Equity Styles:  Large Cap Growth continues leading Large Cap Value and Mid and Small caps.


  • Ranked Sectors:  Leaders - Energy, Financial, Consumer Discretionary, Real Estate

    Laggards - Industrials, Utilities, Consumer Staples, Comm.
    Services.

Bonds

The Rise of the 30-year US Treasury Bond Yield is pause; while the rise of 10-year Note Yield continues to rise. The Yield of the 2-year US Treasury Note again rose sharply.

The Yield Curve flattened after steepening for four weeks.

 

Currencies

The Australian Dollar strengthened, while the Euro and the British Pound weakened slightly. The Yen is trying to find a bottom after plunging.

The US Dollar weakened slightly after approaching resistance at 94.50 and remains in long term uptrend.

Gold continues cycling up/down in trading range while in a long term downtrend.
